In the beginning of 2020 Epidemic was approached to take over nano-influencer collaborations for Petrol. The strategic objectives of the collaboration were:

  1. Increase awareness of Petrol’s services (Na poti and eShop) and communicate them as the 1st choice for when on the go.
  2. Encourage existing users of the “Na poti” app to be more active and participate in the activation.
  3. Increase the user base of the “Na poti” app and emphasise its benefits.
  4. Increase visits to Petrol branches and consequently sales.

Strategy-four communication waves

Petrol’s individual awareness campaign ran for 3-months with approximately 40 influencers per a campaign. The campaign was approached by a well defined plan. It was carried out in four communication waves, described in the following:

Wave 1. Coffee on the GO
“Pay with “Na poti” app and receive every 10th coffee for free.”

Wave 2. Petrol car wash
“Wash your car at Petrol stations and pay with “Na poti” app, furthermore receive bonuses!”

Wave 3. Hit purchase
“Order food in advance and pick it up along the way. Don’t wait for food to be prepared, let the food wait for you.”

Wave 4. Petrol eShop
“Avoid crowds at the store and order right from the comfort of your couch.”

Achieved results-492 collabs, 3k contents, 3M impressions 

All together, we managed to finish 10 individual campaigns in the scope of one year and a half. Together with influencers we have realized more than 2 639 965 views and 41 854 clicks.

Petrol user base increased by 9.4% and together we managed to increase the activation of existing users by 1017 users. What is more, the targeted audience was as part of the whole Petrol activation with the support of AM agency, rejuvenated by 4 years (45 –> 41). We call that a success!
