How to take better photos

…. sometimes it is just so difficult to get the best few photos! You feel like you are so close to it but somehow they just keep missing that WOW factor.

Here are some tips that can assure a great outcome whenever you decide to take new photos for content creation:

Daylight 

If there is one thing that makes the world of difference between a great and a not-so-great photo, that is lighting. The best option would always be – daylight. Try to shoot all of your photos in daylight so that the outcome is a clear photo with realistic coloring, regardless of whether you took it with a professional camera or your phone.

Angle

For a photograph to turn out fantastic, another key factor is a good angle! When it comes to selfies, it is probably sure that everyone already knows their best angle and their preferred profile.
But, when photographing other formats or not taking a photo of yourself at all (maybe a product or landscape) the best option would be to try out as many angles as possible and to choose the one that you like the most.
Remember, you should always tend to change up angles between your photos on your Instagram feed because you don’t want it to look monotonous.

Posing

This might be the scariest part of taking photos when just starting with the whole “content creation” story, but with a little practice and research, it gets much easier every time!
It happens to everyone that they just freeze at one point not knowing what to do, how to pose, how to stand or how to place their hands when posing.

However, there are many great tutorials on YouTube that can help you out with posing and feeling relaxed in front of the camera. You can also find inspiration in other people’s Instagram posts, how they are posing, especially if using a similar piece of clothing. For example, posing in a coat will ask for different poses than posing in a dress with a high slit or in a tracksuit.

After all, the most important thing is that you are feeling comfortable and that you are having fun, and the rest comes naturally and easily!
